Do not place an order with this company, and DO NOT sign up for a subscription. I have sent multiple emails to cancel my subscription and have not heard back. Making it difficult for customers to cancel a subscription is ILLEGAL. If this happens to you, put a stop payment on this merchant with your credit card and report Gussi to the FTC for deceptive business practices.

I've been using this product for years but I am stopping since their customer service is nonexistent. If they can't be trusted to follow basic business laws, I don't trust their product either.

Here are the federal and state laws pertaining to subscriptions:
- Federal: ROSCA (16 CFR Part 425) requires a simple cancellation mechanism. If sign-up was online, cancellation must be equally accessible.
- California: Bus. & Prof. Code § 17602 (ARL) requires that if you accepted auto-renewal terms online, you must be able to cancel online.
- New York: GBL § 527-a requires clear auto-renewal disclosures and a simple cancellation mechanism.
- Fair Credit Billing Act: If you’re charged after cancellation, you can dispute the charge with your credit card issuer within 60 days.

The product itself works fine but beware of the subscription. There is nowhere on the website/account page for you to actually edit your subscription if you need to delay or skip a shipment. Multiple emails and outreach on social media go ignored. Borderline fraud to charge for a subscription and offer no way to edit it.

I ordered this along with the straightener - received the straightener which I have found to be okay but never received the kit. I have emailed the customer service email 6 (SIX!!!) times to no avail. I can't recommend ordering from this brand.

What if I don't apply a flat iron or straighten?

This product is sample size and the bottles are filled only halfway. I would need at least 2 more orders to get my full hair done. Disappointed.

Excited to use the product but I’m curious as to why the products arrived below full, like almost at half of the bottle. For that price, that is not ok imo

Confused that this product is labeled as safe and formaldehyde free- when it takes a few minutes to confirm that’s not true Glyoxyloyl carbocysteine, a main ingredient in the second product, does not contain formaldehyde, BUT formaldehyde (a known cause of reproductive cancers) IS RELEASED in the form of an inhalant (gas) when heated to a high temperature with a flat iron.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review so I could see how long the results would last and give a more thorough review.
I have mid back length 3C curly, fine hair and a LOT of it. Very prone to frizz and split ends and honestly always looks a mess when natural in the hellish humid Georgia summer. I choose Gussi because I wanted to see if there was a way to get some maintenance for my hair without shelling out $400 on a professional keratin treatment.

The process of actually applying the treatment was pretty straightforward! I followed the instructions exactly and it took about 90 minutes from start to finish. That’s about the same amount of time it takes me to blow dry and straighten my hair normally!!! I did not notice any super unpleasant smells so they definitely reformulated. My hair looked SO good after straightening. I was so impressed, it’s never been that straight, shiny, soft and my highlights were GLOWING. My only regret was not scheduling something afterward so I could show it off!

I would say the first week I was having best hair ever. My curls were lying flatter and my frizz was dramatically reduced. By the end of the second week I noticed that the hair on the top of my head around my face was definitely getting back to its normal frizzy state. I only wash my hair twice a week so I think this is because I workout and sweat a lot so that definitely makes the product dissipate faster. The lengths of my hair are still quite soft and tame though. I also noticed that it made the ends of my hair more brittle. Especially, when I blow dry and straighten. I’m now at the end of week three, and the humidity is definitely overpowering the treatment, and frizz is setting in faster but still more reduced than it was pretreatment. I think I’ll have another week or two of benefits before it’ll be back to normal. I’m going to order another bottle (I have about 1/4 left of the first one) and do it again at the 6 week mark and probably continue for the rest of the summer because it has helped and maybe being consistent will help it last longer than a couple weeks.

One day my hair just suddenly changed texture! I think it was the color I put on my roots. My hair was super frizzy and kinky and terrible (normally my hair is smooth and fine- it turned rough and really puffy). I was ready to spend a fortune on a pro treatment but I found this product and it was a game changer. If you follow the directions exactly I guarantee you will be very pleased w the results. I love this material! It’s hard to get dirty and the print is so pretty. The size is perfect to fit everything I need. I don’t find it getting messy from all the random hair products. And in case of a leakage, it’s easy to clean. Offered by gussihair

I received the Gussi Tools and accessories bundle complimentary from Gussi. The Gussi scrunchie is very big thick and made of satin. The Gussi comb and hair clips are okay, don’t feel about the material it is made of. The Gussi accessories pouch is beautiful and can store so much. All the products has weird smell, didn’t like it much.

Overall i think this conditioner fulfill its purpose, i use it after shampooing my hair and it helps me with detangle it and it has a pleasant scent to it! I think that the packaging is cute but might be a little pricey for the amount of product! Gifted by gussihair

This comes in a nice pump bottle, has a light, pleasant odor, and does leave the hair clean, shiny, and smooth. The shampoo is thicker than many I use, which makes it easier to portion and put on the hair without the chance of losing drips on the way. It leaves my hair feeling smooth! Gifted by gussihair

I’ve got very frizzy hair, it’s really long and wavy so right now during these warmer months I get crazy frizz from humidity. This has really helped my hair to calm down, lay flat instead of frizzed and just looks overall shiny without looking greasy. I like that the second one you use is fairly light, it doesn’t feel like you’ve got much in your hair, that being said I like to leave it in and not rinse it as it suggests just because I have dry ends. I did receive this complimentary from gussihair for my honest opinion.

I received the Gussi Protection Upkeep Plan Conditioner gifted by the brand. This helps keep my hair strong and healthy and I love that it doesn't weigh down my natural wavy hair pattern. It really does feel like my hair is protected and I can immediately tell after using that my hair feels more healthy and looks shinier. I would recommend to others.

I have long hair that goes mid way down my back. I live in an area with high humidity so frizz is a big issue of mine. Hence my excitement to try this product. Unfortunately that was not the case after discovering the product arrived half empty. I would not recommend the At-Home Keratin Treatment Kit. Gifted by gussihair.

Gifted by Gussi Hair This dual-ended hair comb is a very useful and well functional haircare tool to help make my daily hair styling routine a lot smoother than before. The fine teeth on one end of the comb helps distributing and detailing my hair in small segments easily and more evenly when styling. The other end of the comb, the teeth are large and wider and works perfectly well for separating and detangling my curly hair with ease! These Get A Grip sectioning hair clips are very good quality and something I'd recommend. I like that they have a matte finish and the packaging was nice as well. I recently dyed my hair and using these clips made it much easier to get clean, even sections gifted by gussihair.
